MCGOUGH, Mr. Claude Layfette, 81, a resident of Honoraville died Sunday October 3, 2010.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday October 6, 2010 at the Union Baptist Church with Rev. William Burns and Rev. William Leverette officiating.

Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. McGough was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Bea Powell McGough and a son, Donald Lee McGough.

Survivors include two daughters, Sue Gafford and Patty (Roger) Tindoll; six sons, Ricky (Betty) McGough, Kenneth (Debbie) McGough, Raymond (Kathy) McGough, Robert (Cathy) McGough, Dan (Lori) McGough and J.W. (Nita) McGough; eighteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; a brother, John R. McGough.

The sons will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Roger Tindoll, Robert Gafford, Sonny Gregory and Al Sexton.
