Alvin Travis Senn, age 80, a resident of Elmore, AL, and a former resident of Greenville, AL, died on Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. William Leverette and Rev. Tim Patton officiating. Burial will follow at the Bullock Community Cemetery in Crenshaw County. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.
Mr. Senn is survived by his wife, Claudia Senn, daughters, Retha McReynolds (Barry) of Millbrook, AL, Wendy Jones (Jeff) of Greenville, AL, granddaughters, Brittany Williams Carpenter (Andy) of Auburn, AL, Jennifer Jones of Fairhope, AL, sister, Ruth Warrick of Brantley, AL, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jordan Boston, Jonathan Boston, Joey Warrick, Edward Warrick, Donnie Warrick, Billy Godwin, and Robbie Silas. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Pete Newton Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church of Greenville, AL.
Mr. Senn was a longtime resident of Greenville and the owner of Greenville Hardware for 20 years. The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund or the Van Gillem Scholarship Fund at the First United Methodist Church of Greenville.
