Katie M. Pond passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Hudson Funeral Services of Greenville with Rev. Robert Lewis officiating. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery with Hudson Funeral Services directing. She leaves to cherish her memories Carolyn Crenshaw, Forest Home; Glennece (Hervey) Hawkins, Montgomery; Johnny Lewis, Cleveland, Ohio; Willie James (Maxine) Kelly and one stepdaughter, Claudia (Elliot) Lewis, both of Greenville; two sister vicie Lewis and Julia (Carnell) Scale, Talladega; brother, Joe (Valeria) Pressley, Columbus, Ohio; two brothers-in-law, Tommy (Carolyn) Carter, Forest Home and Andy (Margaret) Powell, Greenville; sisterin-law, Lilly M. Boggan (Dasiy) Ft. Walton Beach, Fla; a devoted grandson and granddaughter, Robert and Tameka, 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
