Annie (Cecilia Bell) Lasley’s funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 10 from Harrison St. Baptist Church with Rev. Anthony Baxter officiating. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery with Hudson Funeral Service of Greenville directing.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory a devoted husband, Billy Lasley and one son, Cedrick (Carlin) Bell; seven sisters, Betty Peterson, Dorothy Greene, Mary Steele, Mattie Martin, all of Greenville, Shirley Howell, Deland, Fla., Evelyn (Ed) Frost, Newport News, Va., and Maggie Griffin of Greenville; six brothers, John Bell, Brooklyn, N.Y., Eddie Bell (Betty) Reddick, Fla., Curtis Bell, Fort Walton, Fla., George Wayne (Jackie) Womack, Columbus, Ga., John Henry (Linda) Womack, Anthony Bell, both of Greenville; two grandchildren Tereek Bell and Monte Bell, along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Amos Bell Jr. and J.C. Smith.
