No one severely hurt in I-65 accident
The a wheel of an 18-wheeler broke off and crashed into a car on I-65 Tuesday in Greenville.
At approximately 10:15 a.m., the wheel an 18-wheeler traveling northbound broke off the vehicle and crossed the median into oncoming southbound traffic.
The wheel struck the front of the Traverse, which had Kentucky license plates. Greenville police, sheriff’s deputies and emergency personnel responded to the scene.
No one was severely injured, but one woman was transported by GEMS Ambulance to the hospital for treatment. Names of those involved in the accident were not immediately available.
