Edna Walker, 83, a resident of McKenzie, Al., died Saturday, March 27, 2010 after an extended illness. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stacey Gaston officiating. Burial followed in Elizabeth Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, directing.
Survivors include: Daughters: Peggy (Paul) Rainer, Prattville, Al., Elaine (Ken) Hartselle, Manassas, Va., Cherry Walker, Becky (Jerry) Damron, Marbury, Al., Vicki Wall, McKenzie, Al., and Teresa (Tommy) Beverly, Georgiana, Al.; Sons: Tommy Walker, Red Level, Al., Ronnie (Kathy) Walker, McKenzie, Al., Joey Walker, McKenzie, Al., and Chris Walker, Red Level, Al.; Sisters: Dorthy Peavy and Lorene Brooks, both of McKenzie, Al. 16 Grand Children 17 Great Grand Children. She also leaves behind a special Baby, Misty “Baby” Walker, her beloved Poma-Poo. Several special friends and family. She was and is loved by many.
