The daughter of a Greenville couple was killed in Iraq this week.

Lakeshia Bailey, 23, was the daughter of Tony and Phyllis Bailey, both graduates of Greenville High School in 1984.

Lakeshia Bailey had served in the U.S. Army for four years. Family friends said she will be buried in Georgia, where her parents have a home.

A memorial service is planned for Lakeshia Bailey in Greenville within the next two weeks.
