Evensong: a centuries-old tradition of the Anglican Church. This prayer through song service returns to Saint Thomas Episcopal Church this Sunday, November 8 at 4 p.m.

Music will be presented by the Saint Thomas Singers, vocal talents from across the area who unite for this special event.

Starla Jones, April Lowery, Patricia Ballew, Rock Killough, Tom Payne and Steve Norman will serve as feature soloists, with Diane Carlson on violin, Caroline Petrey on flute, Bob Glasscock on recorder, Pat Skipper on piano, Charles Kennedy on Guitar and Pat Richard on organ.

“I especially requested we have one more Evensong before I leave Saint Thomas, so I am very much looking forward to this beautiful service,” Father Fred Lindstrom, rector of Saint Thomas, said.
