Amanda Lee Eddins, 60, died on September 29, 2009. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. October 3, 2009 at Sweet Home AME Zion Church in Forest Home, with Rev. Mark Hawkins officiating and James Herbert Funeral Home of Greenville directing. Interment took place at Hickory Grove in Greenville.
Ms. Eddins was born June 25, 1949 to the late Willie Eddins. She leaves to cherish her memories a lovely mother, Addie Lee Eddins; a very special and devoted companion, George Knight of Greenville; loving and devoted siblings, Lillie (Joe) Warren, Greenville, Rosia (Herbert Dupree) Lucas Hamilton, Pensacola, John (Sabrina) Lucas, Greenville, Tyrone (Stephine) Eddins, Georgiana, Ruby Eddins, Greenville; a loving aunt Medea (Georgia Mae Warren); two loving daughters, Lanetta K. (McArthur) Rudolph, Fort Deposit and Darlene Knight, Greenville; a devoted loving granddaughter, Fonda (Jason) Posey and grandson, Macio; two great-grandsons, Arlyric and Javion, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and a special cousin, Rebecca Warren.
