Mary Ellen Booker, 55, a resident of Rutledge, died Saturday, October 3, 2009 in a Troy hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 6, 2009 from Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Dickson officiating. Burial in Union Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing.
Mrs. Booker was preceded in death by her husband, Wally Booker; son, Sebastian Booker and father, Hertis Faulk. Survivors include: two sons, Justin Booker and Wallie Booker, both of Rutledge; mother, Frances Black, Rutledge; sisters, Theresa Eddins, Rutledge and Pam Stokes, Greenville; brothers, Randy Faulk and Ronnie Faulk, both of Rutledge, Jack Faulk, Goshen and Hertis Sasser, Georgia, and grandchildren, Haley Booker, Abby Gail Booker, Elizabeth Brook-Lynn Booker and Devin Booker.
