David Louis Hawkins, 86, a resident of Georgiana, died Friday, August 14, 2009 in a Georgiana hospital. Graveside services were 2 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2009 from Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Randy Sexton officiating. Survivors include: brother, Hurbert Hawkins, Auburn; sister, Helen Hartley, Daytona Beach, Fla. And a number of nieces and nephews.
