Fort Dale Academy student Beth Hyatt has been recognized by the United States Achievement Academy as a Student of Excellence in science.

Hyatt was nominated by FDA science teacher Marcia Davis. The honor recognizes fewer than 10 percent of all American high school students and Hyatt will be featured in the Academy’s official yearbook.

She is the daughter of Debbie Hyatt of Greenville. Grandparents are Ervin and Betty Edwards, also of Greenville.
