Does your child have a slot in the 2009-2010 Bright Beginnings Pre-K Program in the Butler County Magnet School?

If so, then you will need to plan to attend the orientation session set for Tuesday, August 4, 2009 in Room 105 at the school. The event is set for 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

This event will give parents a chance to have an early meeting with the teacher, a visit to the classroom, a time to ask questions and to become more familiar with the program.

Parents will also need to bring several documents to the orientation session.

They include the following:

*Child’s Birth Certificate

*Child’s Social Security Card

*Child’s Alabama Certificate of Immunization

*Two proofs of residence (one must be a utility bill); other accepted proofs are driver’s license, mortgage document, tag receipt, voter registration or rent receipt.
