Mary E. Cook, age 91,  a resident of Greenville, died  July 10,2009 at her daughter’s residence in Montgomery. Graveside services were held Monday, July 13,2009 at 11 a.m.  at Sunrise Memorial Cemetery with Rev. T.A. Bingham and Gary Alburl officiating with Harrison Funeral Home of Greenville  directing.
Survivors include: daughters, Voncile Alburl , Brunswick , Ga., Marie Strickland , Selma,
Patricia Faulk , Wetumpka, Julia Stabler , Montgomery; son, Billy Ray Hayes , Greenville;
 19 grandchildren , 42 great – Grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. and
7 great – great – grandchildren. Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband, William Clarence Hayes and son, William Edward Hayes.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or Favorite charity.
