Justin Blackburn, 28, a lifelong resident of Wetumpka died unexpectedly at home July 1, 2009.
He is survived by his parents, Larry and Peggy Blackburn; his sister, Amber Blackburn; his brother, Sean Blackburn and his wife, Jasmine; his maternal grandparents, George and Marie Pflum; aunts, Arlene (Phillip) Eggers, Sarah (Bobby) Pearcey, Shirley (Mike) Kline; uncles, Winston (Sue) Blackburn, Alvin (Linda) Blackburn, Nicky (Beverly) Blackburn, Mike (Fay) Blackburn.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.E. and Ivis Blackburn.
Justin graduated from Wetumpka High School in 1999 and attended both The University of Alabama and Auburn University Montgomery.
Visitation was on July 5 at Gassett Funeral Home. Funeral services followed with the Rev. Tommy Merrell officiating. Burial was at Faith Baptist Church cemetery in Wetumpka with Gassett Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers were Mike Blackburn, Caleb Blackburn, Jeromy Mason, Kyle Miller, Ben Colley and Chesmon Guthrie.
