Edwin Dallas Whittle, 73, a resident of Georgiana, died Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Harvill officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing. Survivors incude: wife, Joan Whittle of Georgiana; son, Fletcher Whittle, Georgiana; brother, Gene Whittle, Georgiana; a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
