Vangie Bennett, 34, a resident of Huntsville, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2009. Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, June 6, 2009 from Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Dr. Derrick Holyfield, pastor, and Rev. James Turner Jr. officiating. Burial to follow in the churchyard cemetery with Hudson Funeral Service of Greenvilledirecting.
Mr. Bennett will be missed greatly and memories of him will be cherished by devoted parents, lamber (Sarah) Bennett of Greenville; a son and daughter, Caleb and Caleah Thompson-Bennett of Florence; four sisters, Latisha Bennett of Huntsville, La Tessa, Danaela, Jessica Bennett, all of Greenville; one brother, Phillip Bennett of Greenville; grandparents, Lambert (Rena Van) Bennett Sr.; two uncles, Christopher (Eloise) Bennett, Timothy (Cynthia) Bennett, all of Greenville; three aunts, Bonita Bennett, Jessie Bennett, both of Greenville and Nadine Smith of Luverne; a special cousin who was just like an aunt, Tessie Baugh of Cincinnati and a special friend, Samantha Cross of Gurley, several special cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
