Jerrel Henderson Owens, 75, a resident of Lowndesboro, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 11 a.m. at County Line Church of Christ Cemetery with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Mr. Owens is survived by his wife of 56 years, Amey Lene Owens; his children, Jerry (Sandara) Owens of Greenville, James (Debbie) Owens of Hope Hull, Jennifer Dorman of Highland Home, Kay (Jason) Smith of Prattville, Jay (Kayla) Owens of Highland Home; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; other survivors, Doris Patterson of Wetumpka, Randy Owens of Greenville, Raymond Earl of Sneed, Fla., Daisy Phelps of Luverne, James T. Tindal and Nathan Tindal, both of Honoraville, and Dimple Armstrong of Mobile.
