Winsford Jerry Howell, 92, a resident of McKenzie, died Friday, May 1, 2009 after an extended illness. Funeral services were at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2009 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Grace Baptist Church Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Larry Smith of McKenzie; sister, Virgie Ryals of Alex City, two grandsons, Roy Smith of Georgiana and Troy Smith of McKenzie; great-grandchildren, Cory Smith of Andalusia, Cody Beesley of Georgiana, Chandler Smith of McKenzie and Briana Bennett of McKenzie.
