John Arnold McCullough, 59, a resident of Bay Minette, died Thursday, April 30, 2009. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2009 from Bethel Primitive Baptist Church with Elders Rex Tolbert and Henry McLain officiating. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing.
Mr.McCullough was a veteran of the Viet Nam War and a deacon in the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife of 35 years, Rosanne McCullough of Bay Minette; sons and daughters-in-law, John Calin and Kelly McCullough of McKenzie and William Ryan and Sonia McCullough of Grady; grandchildren, Haleigh, Kelsey Rose, Abigail, Will, Carson and Olivia. Pallbearers were Joey Heirler, Waylon Browder, Josh Abbett, Jordan Abbett, Robby Tucker and Dillon Wright; honorary pallbearers will be Doug Cousins and Wayne McCullough, along with deacons and members of area Primitive Baptist churches.
