Posting of the Colors, a flyover and the playing of Taps will all be part of the program, along with the traditional Walk of Honor featuring all veterans.

Local Boy Scouts and the Greenville High School Honor Guard are expected to participate, with a display of armament courtesy of the local National Guard Armory also in the works.

“We welcome all area veterans and their families and the families of those who sacrificed their lives in service to their country to come and join us,” said Lion president Hubert Little. – Angie Long
