Lena Bennett’s funeral services were held at noon Saturday, April 18, 2009 from Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Derrick Holyfield officiating. Burial followed in the churchyard cemetery with Hudson Funeral Services directing. Mrs. Bennett leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Fred, daughter Cherrye (Anderson III) Todd; sister, Delia Polk of Linden; grandchildren, Elena (Kori) White, Anderson Todd IV (fiancée Stephanie) and Angela Todd; great-grandchildren Olivia and Noah White; Greyson Todd, Zion, Sage and Salah Williams; special niece, Doris Williams; special nephew John Malone; several adopted sons, daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
