At around 4 p.m. Monday afternoon, a Ford Escort driven by 17-year-old Tabitha Michelle Kelley of Greenville wrecked on U.S. Highway 31 south of Greenville. The car apparently left the road at an undetermined rate of speed and entered a ditch which caused the car to flip. Alabama State Troopers said both Kelley and her passenger, 18-year-old Jessica Wilson of Georgiana, were injured. The extent of those injuries were not known. Above, one of the accident victims is taken to an ambulance by rescue workers.
