The Annual Achiever Award Banquet has been scheduled for Thursday, May 7, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center of Greenville’s First Baptist Church.

This award, co-sponsored by the Greenville YMCA and Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce, is designed to recognize the leading male and female Christian athlete/student/scholar from the senior class of all area schools.

This year’s nominees will include students from Greenville High School, Fort Dale Academy, McKenzie High School and Georgiana High School.

The guest speaker at this year’s banquet is Charlie Trotman, former Auburn University Quarterback, owner of The Trotman Company, Inc, a property development company in Montgomery.

This event is open to the public. Tickets will be available at the Greenville YMCA for $15.00 each. Included in the ticket price is a seated dinner.
