The Greenville YMCA is presenting “An Evening with Santa” on Dec. 11, 12, and Dec. 15, 16, 18. This is a great opportunity for a parent to have Santa Claus present their child with a present.
According to YMCA Director Amanda Phillips, Santa plans to visit Greenville on the above-mentioned dates from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Phillips said Santa will visit your home personally for approximately 10 minutes and bring a small treat to each child.
The instructions are as follows:
– The YMCA will notify you by telephone of the date and approximate time of your visit. Every effort will be made to accommodate your schedule, but it cannot be guaranteed. To make scheduling easier please indicate three dates that are convenient for your family on your ticket.
– To enable a successful visit, please draw a simple map to your house on the back of ticket.
– On the night of your visit, please leave a light on by the door that you wish Santa to use. If you have opted to have a Santa deliver your gift to your child, please leave the gift in a noticeable place by the door with a legible name on the gift. Also, indicate on your ticket if you will leave a gift.
– The YMCA request that only your children whose names are listed on the ticket be present for Santa’s visit so that he will know how many children to prepare for.
Call 382-0550 to purchase a ticket or come by the Greenville YMCA.
The proceeds from Santa’s visits will benefit a variety of programs for YMCA children.
Cost is $25.
