Doris Halford Mitchell, 82, a resident of McKenzie, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008 in a Mobile hospital.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2008 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clarence Cravey and the Rev. Terry Heartsill officiating.
Burial followed in Sweet Home Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing. Survivors include: daughter, Blanche Ballard of Georgiana; sons, Harry Mitchell and Larry Mitchell, both of Monroeville; sisters, Donnette Lurie of Birmingham, Willodene Hallford of Perdido, Peggy Cravey of Cordele, Ga., and Callie Gipson of Newnan, Ga.; brothers, Pierce Halford, Pensacola, Mark Halford, Atlanta and Lamar Hallford of Greenville, eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
