Brooks to return to Ritz for two shows Dec. 2

A familiar face will be returning to the stage of the Ritz Theatre on Tuesday , Dec. 2. Bill J. Brooks, gospel and country singer and Elvis tribute artist, will be bringing some of the King’s greatest hits and more tunes in two shows.
A 2 p.m. show is scheduled, offering free admission to all area senior citizens and their friends.
On Tuesday night, Brooks will return for a 7 p.m. show. Admission will be $5 and all proceeds will go to benefit senior services in the area.
Brooks, who hails from Tupelo, has performed for previous benefit shows at the Ritz, along with a number of private parties and community events in both Butler and Crenshaw counties, including Relay For Life.
“Bill has a great voice and always does such a great job. He is a marvelous entertainer,” said Mary Braden, Senior Services director for the City of Greenville.
The concerts are being sponsored by Greenville Cash & Carry.
