Want to enjoy the scent and sight of an old-fashioned Christmas?

Then consider purchasing a beautiful, fragrant Douglas fir from the Greenville Rotary Club this holiday season.

The trees are $45 each, with the proceeds going to a number of worthy causes, said Tree Sale chairman Bobby Rogers.

“We support our local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and the Greenville Area Arts Council; provide scholarships to LBWCC, and support other youth leadership activities with the monies raised by the annual sale,” Rogers said.

Because the trees are both beautiful and affordable, the Rotarians, who have sponsored the sale for more than a decade, have regular customers from Montgomery, Evergreen and other cities.

“They say you can’t beat the quality of the tree for the price,” Rogers said.

The trees will be available for pickup on Dec. 3 in the LBWCC-Greenville campus.

“We will also be glad to deliver to customers who live here in Greenville,” Rogers said.
