John William Herring Sr., 51, a resident of Tallassee, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008 in a Tallassee hospital.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2008 from the Industry Church of Christ with Elder Charles E. Smith officiating.
Burial followed in Industry Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing.
Survivors include: son, John William Herring Jr. of Electic; daughter, Deborah Herring of Georgia; mother, Bobbi Herring of Eclectic; sisters, Ceil Kilgore of Mobile, Judy Rhodes of Wetumpka and Kay Price of Eclectic.
