Greenville Rotarians are helping the county’s third graders increase their word power.

Last week, members of the local club personally delivered copies of Webster’s Dictionary to every third grade class in Butler County.

“This is a joint effort between our district of Rotary International and the Greenville Rotary Club, and our third year of getting dictionaries in all our third graders’ hands,” Connie Coleman, Greenville Rotary Club president said.

Students at Greenville Elementary, R.L. Austin Elementary School in Georgiana, McKenzie School, Fort Dale Academy and Camellia City Christian Academy were all recipients of the dictionaries.
