Laurine Adams, a resident of Greenville, passed on Friday, October, 3, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 11, 2008 from Damascus Baptist Church, Minister Wiley Thornton officiating.
Burial to follow in churchyard cemetery with Hudson Funeral Services of Greenville directing.
Mrs. Adams leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Willie C. (Susan) Adams of Luverne; Jimmy R. Adams of Fort Benning, Ga.; three stepdaughters, Loretta (Shaun) Moorer of Greenville; Linda (Johnnie) Dawson and Lou Smith of Pascagoula, Miss.; five grandchildren, LaChasta, Jermaine, Reginald, Renaldo and Chelsea, four great-grandchildren, Keyundrea, Christopher, Victoria, Juiliana Brielle; nine step-grandchildren (one predeceased) and 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruthel Pickett and Ozell (Manual Jr.) McMillan of Rutledge, Eugene (Willie Mae) Washington and Kinnie Washington Sr. of Detroit, Michigan and Ollie J. (Minnie) Washington of Monticello, N.Y.; one aunt, Molly Holston of Greenville; four brothers-in-law, James (Alice) Adams and Willie J. Adams of Greenville, John C. (Stella) Adams of Tuskegee and Joe Adams of Dayton, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Annie (Joe) Cooper of Hartford, Conn. and Dorothy Adams of Detroit; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special friends in the Searcy Community, the Damascus church family and the Poole and Reynolds families of Greenville.
