Jeannine B. Stringer, a resident of Montgomery, Ala., and former resident of Fort Deposit, Ala., died Sunday, May 24.  A graveside service will be Wednesday, May 27 at 10 a.m. at Spring Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Carlson officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. She is preceded in death by brothers, George Bowman and Curtis Bowman, and survived by her husband, Gerald Stringer; son, Stephen Matthew Stringer Sr. (Sarah); grandchildren, Stephen Matthew Stringer Jr., Katherine Elizabeth Stringer and Mary Margaret Stringer; brothers, John Bowman (Marlene), Eugene Bowman (Jan) and Harvell Bowman; sisters, Evelyn

Rider (Hank), Virginia Godwin, Katherine Robinson (James), Ruth Simmons (Horace) and Betty Sims (J.C., deceased).

Jeannine was born in Andalusia, Ala., on January 22, 1950 to Pauline and Obie Bowman. She attended Lowndes County High School and graduated in 1968.  Jeannine was truly blessed; spent most of her days keeping up with the events and stories of her three grandchildren, Matthew, Katherine and Mary Margaret, and had an extreme love for all things Auburn, especially football.  Jeannine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly.   For online condolences, visit www.dunklinanddanielsfh.com.
