Lula Dee Raines, 68, a resident of McKenzie, passed away on June 5. Funeral service were held June 8 at Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Al  Dyess officiating. Burial followed in Old Town Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home directing arrangements. Ms. Raines was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Raines; parents, Henry and Jessie Lee Jerkins; brothers, Ray Jerkins, Bill Jerkins and Eugene Jerkins. She is survived by her daughters, Sue (Sam) Matthews, Wander (Claude) Garcia, Teresa Raines and Bobbie Raines, all of McKenzie; Cecil (Donna) Raines, Pollard, Ala., Raymond “Bubba” (Tina) Raines, Odessa, Texas; sisters, Mellissa Ballard, Milton, Fla., Henrietta Wilson, Hanahan, S.C., Elaine Jerkins, McKenzie, Mary (Larry) Terrell, Houston, Texas; Johnny (Kathy) Jerkins, Mark Tree.
