Josh and Leann McLendon of Greenville announce the birth of their daughter, Ann Knox, born Aug. 1, 2011, at 1:01 p.m.

Ann Knox weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20 inches long. Ann Knox is the granddaughter of Ozzie and Ann Judah of Greenville and Dexter and Janice McLendon of Greenville. She is the great-granddaughter of Herman Judah, Sr. and the late Fannie Rae Judah of Ozark, the late Lamar and Betty Snellgrove of Dothan, Joyce McLendon and the late Emory McLendon of Greenville, Jean Miller of Greenville and John and Marilyn McGlaughn of Mary Ester, Fla.
