Robert (Bob) Edwards Sellers, age 65 of Daphne, Alabama passed away peacefully on August 11, 2011 at his home in Timber Creek. He graduated from Murphy High School in 1964 and Auburn University in 1969 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He served two years in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He had a successful 29 year career in engineering management positions with Champion International Paper Co. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Sellers, his brother, Bill Sellers, his sister, Wanda Day, his niece, Debbie Spotswood. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Diane Stinson Sellers, his sister, Gloria Spotswood, of Mobile, his brother, Phillip Sellers of Mobile and several nieces and nephews. Funereal services will be held at Providence United Methodist Church 32200 Jimmy Faulkner Drive, Spanish Fort, Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. witha visitation from 12:30 p.m. till 1:30 p.m. Graveside services will be at 5 p.m. at Bethel Cemetery, Hwy 106 W., Georgiana, Al. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Al directing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Providence United methodist Church.
