Butler County scholars make Troy honors

Troy University announced students earned honors, being named to the Provost’s List and Chancellor’s List for the spring semester and Term 2 of the 2024-2025 academic year on Friday, June 20. Among the students honored are scholars hailing from across Butler County.
From Greenville are Jessica Longmire, Lancelot Smith, Lauren Bowen and Annsley Wallace.McKenzie native, Hannah Peavy was also named to the list for proving her academic excellence.Full-time undergraduates students registered for at least 12 semester hours make the Troy Provost’s List for maintaining at least a 3.65 grade point average (GPA).
Earning placement on the Chancellor’s list requires that students are enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintain at least a 4.0 GPA. Greenville’s Joshua Hall, Emily Hartley, Rebecca Cleman, Taylor Hovis, Deidra Smith, Keisha Rice and Avery Royal and Brady Shell of Georgiana won placement on the list by achieving academic excellence.
The named students study on the university’s Troy, Dothan, Phenix City or Montgomery, online or from one of the college’s international campuses.
