Reid State Technical College will open its campus to the public for its Spring 2025 Career Fair on Apr. 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., offering job seekers a chance to explore career pathways and connect with top regional employers. The event will feature resume assistance, career insight and earnings data and access to dozens of hiring businesses, including Wind Creek Hospitality, HWASHIN, Hyundai Motor, Crowne Healthcare and the Alabama Career Center System.
“We typically hold these for our graduates but we haven’t held one this big in a while,” said Jason Daniel, Reid State Public Relations Assistant. “There will be so many employers and there’s been so much engagement. We’re looking forward to everyone coming out and participating and we’re thankful to everyone that has stepped up to make this happen.”
In addition to exploring immediate job openings, attendees can meet with Reid State representatives to learn about educational programs designed to prepare them for in-demand careers.
“We can offer everything from continuing education and a GED, to welding, Industrial maintenance, Commercial Driver License (CDL) and our Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Program,” Daniel said. “We even offer dual enrollment starting at the high school sophomore level.”
