Evelyn Elizabeth Steele, a resident of McKenzie passed away on Friday, April 4, at the age of 86.
Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 8, beginning at 2 p.m. at Brushy Creek Cemetery with Brother Randy Harvill officiating and Johnson Funeral Home directing.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents James Charlie Skipper and Frances Elizabeth Hester Skipper; loving husband of 53 years Charles Everett Steele; sisters Olene Reid and Ariel C. Skipper; brothers Arnold D. Skipper and Glennis M. Jordan.
Evelyn is survived by her daughters Layla (Willie) Benbow and Rosie Steele, sons Thomas (Vicky) Steele and Michael Steele; grandchildren Marcus Straughn, Sarah Straughn, Kimberly Straughn, Christopher Benbow, Kathleen Benbow, John M. Butler and Justin Steele and great grandchildren Gracie Straughn, Anna Benbow, Landon Benbow, Breanna Benbow, Lorene Steele, Charles Steele and Blakely Benbow.
