Community members gathered on Saturday, Mar. 22 for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Pine Needle Senior Living, located at 600 Glendale Avenue. While the facility has been operating in Greenville since 2022, it has recently come under new management and is undergoing a rebranding.

“The facility includes 16 private suites and provides assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, laundry, cleaning, meals, transportation to doctor’s appointments or scheduling doctor’s appointments and medication management,” said owner Darryl Perkins.

Perkins emphasized the facility’s commitment to the Greenville community.

“This is a wonderful opportunity we have here in Greenville,” Perkins said. “We’re very appreciative of it and we just want to be a part of the community. And, like I said, just anything we can do to help out, we want to do. We appreciate all the support that we’ve already had from the community, so we’re just grateful.”
