Lion’s club learns about Alzheimer’s

Melisa Miller Mote, co-chair of the River Region Walk To End Alzheimer’s, joined the Greenville Lions club meeting Monday, March 10, to share statistics and warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease. She informed the club about her work as an advocate and volunteer with The Alzheimer’s Association. Mote described the organization’s fundraising efforts and their goal to find a cure for the disease which affects more than 100,000 Alabamians over 65.
