McKenzie native named to UWA Dean’s List

The University of West Alabama (UWA) has announced nearly 600 outstanding undergraduate students named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2024 academic semester. Among them is a Butler County native recognized for their academic excellence.

Tiffany Sanders, hailing from McKenzie, earned placement on the dean’s list for academic achievement in his studies as part of UWA’s automotive business administration program. 

Fall 2024 academic honors recipients represent 62 out of 67 Alabama counties and 68 counties from 19 other states. The UWA Dean’s List gives recognition to undergraduate students with grade-point averages between 3.25 and 3.79, completing at least twelve semester credit hours, with no grade lower than a “C.”
