Harriette Elizabeth “Betsy” Jolly, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter and friend, passed away on Feb. 16 at the age of 63.
Betsy is survived by her mother Beth Wood, husband William Jolly, her children Stephen (Jen) Jolly and Katherine (Josh) Kropp and six grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.
Betsy’s love extended far beyond family ties — she welcomed all with an open heart. She embodied unconditional love, giving of herself freely and selflessly to anyone in need.
She celebrated her life with laughter, warmth and passion. She found peace in sunrises, delight in grandchildren, satisfaction in helping others and excitement in planning parties. She was always thinking of ways to make our world brighter. Her kindness, generosity and unwavering love leave a legacy that will forever guide those who knew her.
Betsy’s life was a testament to the power of love, friendship, and selflessness. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she touched.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, beginning at 1 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow at Ebeneezer Cemetery in the Pigeon Creek Community with Johnson Funeral home directing. The family will receive friends for visitation, Saturday, Feb. 22, at Johnson Funeral Home, beginning at 12 p.m. until time of service. A reception will be held at her home in Evergreen following burial.
