The Greenville-Butler County Public Library is showcasing gingerbread men created as part of their Disguise a Gingerbread Man Contest. Children participating were encouraged to use fun, crafty materials like crayons, paint, buttons, pipe cleaners, colored paper and more to dress the gingerbread men up as their favorite book characters. 

The contest was extended due to cold weather and winter storms, and closed on Monday, Jan. 27. Gingerbread men will be judged on creativity and individuality. First-, second- and third-place winners will be announced soon by Greenville-Butler County Public Library.
