J&D Yard Sale will host its 3rd annual pumpkin patch Oct. 12, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in McKenzie. Food, games and canned goods will be available.

The Butler County Civic League will host its Annual Fall Banquet Oct. 19 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Dunbar Recreation Center, 206 School Highlands Road in Greenville.
Book Signing
Author JoDee Neatherly will hold a book signing Nov. 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce located at 1 Depot Square in Greenville. Neatherly will sign copies of her award-winning book, “A Kind of Hush.”
Turkey Shoot
The American Legion is hosting a Turkey Shoot to raise funds for Boy’s and Girl’s State at the Central Riding Arena/Volunteer Fire Dept. on Halso Mill Road Saturday, Nov. 2. Age, gender and veteran categories for 12 and under as well as up to 60 and over are available. Register 9-10 a.m. Competition starts at 10 a.m.
Lions Sight
