Lou V. Acreman, a resident of Greenville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the age of 80.

Funeral Services were held on Thursday, Sept. 19, beginning at 2 p.m. at Walnut Street Church of Christ with Charles Box officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.  Burial followed in Sunrise Memorial Park.  The family received friends for visitation beginning at 1 p.m. until service time.

Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Cleston Moore and Bertie Mae Eddins Moore; brothers, James Moore, Charlie Moore, J.C. Moore, Jack Moore and Donnie Moore and sisters, Mary McGough and Leola McGough.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Earl Acreman; daughter, Barbara Wood and sisters-in-law, Alice Padgett and Norma Jean Stinson.

Lou worked at American Apparel for more than 40 years.  She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
