Phillip Blackmon retired on February 18, 2022 from Coastal as a log lift operator in the lumber yard.

Initially hired to work for Union Camp in 1974, his service spanned over three decades. With a few years break in service, Blackmon later returned to Coastal in April 2013.  He said, “I’m glad I returned to the company for a second time. It’s helped me to better prepare for retirement.”  According to Blackmon’s leaders and peers, he’s highly respected and will be dearly missed. Blackmon is looking forward to farming and spending more time with his family.
