A memorial service for Jennifer “Jennie” Coburn Blackmon, 68, of Georgiana will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home with Bro. Jerrod Harp officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-1pm at the funeral home. Jennie passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 in Greenville.

She is survived by her children Jeff Blackmon and Michael Blackmon (Sarah); She was “Nana” to her grandchildren Kayla Webb (Jessie), Hayden Fomby (Chasen), Anisten Blackmon, Coburn Blackmon, Ethan Blackmon, Wiley Blackmon, and Jayden Middleton; sister Merrele Hernandez; brother Roland Coburn (Nancy); best friend Rhonda Bees; niece Ginger Fennell (Andy); nephew Adam Hernandez (Calene); great niece Caitlyn Hernandez; and great nephew Ethan Hernandez.

She is preceded in death by parents Duane and Geraldine Coburn; and her cats Christmas and Rudolph

Jennie worked most of her life as an accountant at various places. She enjoyed cooking for her friends and family and spending time with her grandchildren. She also looked forward to her daily walks with Mrs. Judy Scott. She enjoyed traveling with her sister.
