Betty Campbell Adams passed away suddenly at L.V. Stabler Memorial Hospital Emergency room on Sunday, February 6, 2022. She was born on October 19, 1929 and was 92 years old. She grew up in Pigeon Creek, Alabama. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Magnolia Cemetery at 11 a.m. with Brother John Gurley officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing.

She graduated from Greenville High School and worked at Boss Manufacturing Company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenville, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her husband Stewart Adams after 70 years of marriage. She was also predeceased by her parents Ed and Irl Campbell and her six siblings. Survivors include her two daughters, Dianne Tolbert of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and Cheryl Lurie of Dothan, Ala. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kimberly (Rob) Byrne of Winter Garden, Fla. and Jay (McCall) Lurie; great grandchildren, Evan and Emmalyn Byrne, Anne Reagan, Maggie Lurie; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express thanks to Southern Care Hospice in Dothan and Greenville, Ala. and to the Dothan physicians who cared for her while she was in Dothan. The family would also like to thank her loving and caring friends who supported and assisted her.
