Mary Lou Burkett, 90, of Georgiana passed away Wednesday, September 22 in Greenville.

Graveside services were at Love’s Way Cemetery on Saturday, September 25th.

Reverend  Mike Holcomb officiated.

Her daughter Diane Burkett, grandchildren Chris Moore (Chrissy), Tony McInvale (Gerald), Stephanie Boswell (David), and Charlie Burkett (Carrie), ten great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren, sisters Dorothy Wagnon and Judy Wiggins (Doyle), brother Sherrill Nichols (Marie) and several nieces, nephews and friends survive her.

Her husband of 65 years Stanley Burkett, son Tommy Burkett, brothers Joe Nichols, Jack Nichols, and Charles Nichols and parents Wesley and Julia Nichols precede her in death.

She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother as well as terrific mom and wonderful wife.
