LBW Community College has unveiled new academic and athletic logos.

“As the college expands its services and outreach efforts. I’m proud for us to have an image that represents who we are,” Dr. Brock Kelley, LBW president, said. “This rebranding project has positioned us to continue that growth and will unify us as an institution as we move forward.”

The new branding brings the torch and the Fleur-de-lis together as both have been important symbols at the community college. The torch represents the illumination of the world through education and knowledge and symbolizes leadership.

The LBW Athletics Program was no left our on the rebranding. They have a new customizable logo that will benefit recruitment efforts.

The new logos are not the only changes taking place. At the Andalusia campus, the Seth Hammett Gymnasium received a freshly painted floor with the new updated logo, installation of volleyball nets for the new women’s volleyball program, and fresh coats of paint on the interior walls.

“Throughout the fall semester, branding updates will gradually be made to ensure consistency among the various programs, departments and locations,” Maggie Mash, marketing director, said.

A newly redesigned website will go live in August, Mash said.

Apparel with the new design is already available for purchase through the BSN Fan Gear store, or visit lbwcc.edu for more information, and purchase apparel.

All the new logos were developed in partnership with Rickabaugh Graphics.
